FAQs

  • What can I expect in my Initial Assessment?
During your initial assessment we will ask questions about your current problem and symptoms, past medical history, medication, social situation and what your expectations are. We will then undertake a physical examination and a functional assessment looking at how you move. Following this we will start your treatment session. Once this is completed we will determine with you your ongoing physiotherapy needs.
  • Will I need a Follow up Appointment?
We will agree on the date and time of subsequent sessions in person or by telephone or email. Depending on the patient’s physical condition these appointments usually last approximately 45 minutes.
  • What does it mean to give Consent?
As physiotherapists we are required to gain informed consent prior to each treatment ensuring you are aware of the risks and benefits of any treatment. You will be involved in all decisions about your treatment and you have the right to consent and decline treatment. If a client is unable to give informed consent we as physiotherapists will act in the clients best interest and communicate with the clients NOK and / or LPA.
  • How can I pay for my treatment?
Little Moore Rehabilitation accepts cheques, cash and direct online transfer.
  • What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We ask that we are notified as soon as possible via telephone or email if you need to cancel an appointment. Cancellations within 24 hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee.
